Here at Penrice, we value every voice.

The Student Parliament is the new channel for democracy at Penrice, giving students the opportunity to have their voices heard in a structured and organised format. In January 2025, two students from each Year 7-10 tutor group were elected. This resulted in a total of 80 Student MPs. Their term will run until the end of Spring Term 2026, when new elections will take place.

Secretary of States

Well done to our new Secretary of States who have been successfully appointed following an application and interview process for elected Student MPs.

In their Senior MP roles, they will be responsible for representing and supporting their year group, ensuring collective student concerns are heard and acted upon. They will regularly speak with their Head of Year, other Student MPs and tutor groups to foster positive year group cultures.
