Open Evening 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Evening on Thursday 24 September 2026.

Visitors had the opportunity to discover what makes Penrice Academy extraordinary, from exploring exciting Science experiments to meeting the furry residents on our school farm. There was something for everyone to enjoy and experience.

Most importantly, prospective students and their families were able to see how Penrice helps young people to be ambitious, be a leader and be themselves. Because when young people are given the confidence to thrive, they do not just succeed, they belong.

If you were unable to attend, or would like to see the school in action during a normal working day, we warmly invite you to book one of our Daytime Tours and experience life at Penrice first-hand.

Ofsted Outstanding 2025

One year on from our most recent Ofsted inspection, we remain incredibly proud to be an Outstanding school in all four categories. Penrice Academy has held Ofsted's highest judgement since 2011, reflecting more than a decade of exceptional education, high aspirations and an unwavering commitment to our young people.

The report celebrates what we see every day: young people who inspire us, staff who go above and beyond, families whose support helps make our academy such a special place and a school that is deeply rooted in the local community. Together, we continue to build on this success, creating opportunities for every student to flourish.
