Into the Woods - A Fairytale Adventure Like No Other

Step into a world where your favourite fairytale personalities collide, as Into The Woods intertwines the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and the Baker and his Wife. This witty and beautifully layered musical explores what happens after “happily ever after”, taking audiences on an adventure full of charm and unexpected twists.

This enchanting musical doesn’t just revisit these classic characters - it reimagines them, exploring their hopes and flaws with humour and heart. As each character ventures into the woods in search of their deepest wishes, the paths they take unfold into a beautifully layered adventure with soaring highs and unforgettable lessons.

Our students have embraced every moment of this production, working together to create a performance that is as magical as the story itself. They are ready to light up the stage with music and character; all that’s missing now is you in the audience to share the journey with them.

Ticket Information

Tickets for this year’s production are priced at £7 per seat, with all proceeds reinvested directly into supporting future Penrice school productions. This includes set building, costumes and essential stage/audio equipment.

A Proud Penrice Tradition

School productions are an integral part of who we are at Penrice Academy. Following the success of Rock of Ages (Teen Edition) in 2025 and Oliver JR in 2024, this year's cast and crew have once again shown extraordinary dedication.

Since September, students have committed to two rehearsals every week, pushing themselves as they build confidence and work as a team. Behind the scenes, our backstage crew and set design team have been working tirelessly to create a truly immersive experience on stage.
