Smiles and Laughter at Year 11 Celebration Day

It was a memorable and emotional experience for our Year 11s on Friday as they completed their final timetabled lesson at Penrice, passing a key milestone as they enter the home straight of their 5-year journey with us.

All Year 11 students shared laughter and heartfelt warmth as they reflected on their Penrice journey in their Final Assembly which took place after Break 1. The assembly contained a wide range of photos dating back to 2018 when they started in Year 7 and the students were in good humour as they looked back on how much they have grown!

After lunch, students took to the dancefloor at a Silent Disco. Their day ended with a memorable guard of honour as they exited the school.

Year 11’s studies certainly don’t end here. Over the next month, all Year 11s are required to be in school attending revision classes targeted at their exam subjects, so we will continue to see all of them around Penrice for a little while longer.

With exams starting next week, all that’s left to say is good luck Year 11 – we know that you’ll do us proud!
