The Library The Library at Penrice has been a huge success with students and staff alike. It is a lively, welcoming and well-resourced centre giving students a positive experience of reading books. The Library shares the ethos and the values of the whole school – Everyone Included, Everyone Challenged, Everyone Successful. It is a centre for learning and literacy development as well as supporting students with Information Technology. Staff are on hand at all times to offer information and guidance to meet the majority of enquiries. The role of the library is to help create confident, enthusiastic readers and engage students in life-long learning. Fostering a love of reading is extremely important and The Library offers both fiction and non-fiction material. Students are able to borrow up to four books at a time; these can be renewed/returned within the two week loan period. Overdue reminders are sent automatically to email accounts. We do not charge fines but if a book is lost a full replacement charge is levied. Opening Times: Mondays – Thursdays: 8.00am – 4.00pm Fridays: 9.00am – 3.00pm Where next?
