Team Porthpean Win Sports Day 2022

A great effort by our pupils yesterday who gave it their all on Sports Day! Congratulations to Team Porthpean on romping to victory by a clear margin!

There were an enormous range of activities on offer ranging from traditional track and field events to more obscure Sports Day activities such as Archery, BMX Riding, French Boules and even Cornish Wrestling.

The end of the day saw Penrice teachers and support staff come together for a Tug of War competition before a hotly contested staff relay, receiving rapturous applause by all pupils who were cheering on by the side of the track.

Thank you to all of the pupils for really getting into the spirit of Sports Day and cheering each other on. And a special thank you to the Penrice PE team for organising a fantastic day.
