Sports Report: 20/04/2018

The Sports Report is back and it could not come at a better time! We are heading into one of the busiest and best terms in the PE department so there is much to tell.

It was a busy start after the Easter break. All Years are now on new topics in their lessons covering rounders, cricket, athletics and tennis. Luckily the weather has been amazing and has been a great way to start our summer of sport.

We are now going to be building up to Penrice Sports Day – one of the best days of the year – so hopefully our students have been inspired while watching the commonwealth games over the break and be able to show off their athletic skills this term. See pictures from last year’s Sports Day here.

With the new Summer Term, we now have new clubs too. Come along see what’s on!

Monday – Tennis Club

Tuesday- Athletics Club

Wednesday – FIXTURE DAY

Thursday – Cricket Club

Friday – Cheerleading, Rounders, Track and field athletics training (squad training)

All clubs are for all years and all start at 3:00 and finish at 4:30.

We kicked off the term with two Girls’ Gootball matches. PENRICE GIRLS FOOTBALL ARE GOING TO THE COUNTY FINALS! Read all about it here.

What’s on next week?
