School Cleaner Ref: PEN006 Actual Salary: £11,995 per annum (Pay and Grading Review Pending) Fixed Term Contract: 1 November 2020 – 30 April 2021 30 hours per week – Term Time plus 6 Days in School Holidays We are looking to appoint a School Cleaner to support with additional cleaning requirements during the school day. As a member of a team of cleaners or as a lone worker, you will be required to undertake cleaning of specific areas of the school building and facilities in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and security of the school buildings and grounds at all times. This role is initially required on a fixed term basis for 6 months, with the possibility of being extended following a review of the cleaning requirements at that time. The role will be required during school term time, plus 6 additional days in the school holidays (across this 6 month contract) to ensure cleanliness before and after any school events or revision sessions during the holidays, as well as covering the annual leave of colleagues.
