Remembrance Crosses 2017 On Friday 10th November, our students proudly laid their crosses, remembering those who gave their tomorrow for our today. The Last Post was performed once again by Lia. Students came together in their forms to write messages on a wooden cross, to lay in the garden during the service. Adam from the Student Media Team collected some of the messages: I wrote your name on the sky but the wind blew it away I wrote your name on the sand but the waves washed it away Give 2 minutes for their forever You will always be heroes Thank you for fighting for our future They died so we can live Your sacrifice is not forgotten We do not remember because we have to.. we remember because we want to The people that risked their lives to save our country will always be remembered They gave their lives to save ours You will always be remembered
