Raising funds for Macmillan with amazing bakes! Penrice Academy has a history of successful fundraising initiatives for global, national and local charities and this year kicked off with a baking spectacular to support Macmillan, organised by Year 9 student William Hoare. The hall was filled with customers eager to buy the cakes and biscuits on sale and spend time socialising with friends and colleagues as they listened to live music from the Penrice Rock band! This sale raised over £173 for the charity and special thanks to Mrs Tregunna for making and donating the fabulous Macmillan cake for our raffle.
