Join us for a memorable spectacle as the curtain rises on our highly anticipated 2025 school production of Rock of Ages (Teen Edition)! Full of classic songs like ‘We Built This City’ and ‘The Final Countdown’, you’re in for a treat!

Get ready to dust off your leather jackets, tease your hair to the heavens and throw on your most fabulous glitter, because glam rock attire is highly encouraged! The louder the outfit, the better! And whilst you’re strutting in those sequins, don’t forget to hit up our selfie station — because if you didn’t snap it, did you even truly rock?

School productions are a core part of our DNA here at Penrice Academy. This year’s show comes hot off the back of Oliver JR in 2024 and Matilda JR in 2023. Our students have shown outstanding commitment in attending two rehearsals per week since September and their hard work is sure to pay off! Our backstage crew and set design team have also been working tirelessly behind the scenes!

The Essential Information

How to Buy Tickets

Tickets are priced at £5 per seat and all money raised will be used to fund Penrice school productions, including set design and stage/audio equipment. Ticket purchases are online only via our TryBooking.com page. If this price is a barrier to you attending, please contact Mrs Ames via CAmes@penrice.org.uk and we will find a solution to make sure every parent/carer can see their child perform.

Timings

The show will run over three nights from 1st – 3rd April 2025. Please arrive from 5:30pm onwards, ready for a 6pm start. Unlike previous school productions, Rock of Ages will have an interval. The show will run from approximately 6pm – 8:30pm, with a 20 minute break in the middle.
