Penrice Bid Farewell to Year 11 There were heartfelt hugs and tears on Friday 28 May as Penrice Academy held a special leavers’ day for Year 11. The day started with a year group assembly at 8.30 where students were shown pictures from various highlights during their time at Penrice alongside a special performance from the Penrice band led by Mr Newton! The students then enjoyed a silent disco in the sports hall followed by food in the form of a pizza van before departing the site through a guard of honour, led by our Year 10 students. Lucy Gambier, Headteacher said: “ On behalf of all of us at Penrice, I wish every member of the Class of 2021 all the very best as they embark on the next stage of their lives, and I hope that college and future studies go well. We look forward to hearing about all the amazing things they get up to and hope to see them again as they inspire the next generation of Penrice students. Results Day 2021 will be on Thursday 12 August. On this day, students will be able to come in and collect results from 10.15am. (Providing government restrictions remain as they are now).
