Higher Education with Year 9

On Monday 9th October, Next Steps South West joined our Year 9 students for a day exploring the possibilities of Higher Education.

The team worked with Year 9 on Careerpilot; sessions that explored different education and career options to get the conversation started around future choices.

The day concluded with a fantastic performance by the Barbican Theatre Group entitled Why Would You?, which focused on Higher Education and tackled scenarios such as “can I afford university?”

Selected students then took part in an interactive workshop with the Barbican Theatre to produce their own dramatic versions of the questions discussed in the programme.
