Our Meet the Tutor Evening will take place on Thursday 7 November 3:30pm – 6pm.

This event is designed to provide you with an opportunity to connect with your child’s tutor, learn about your child’s personal development journey and explore more about our school community. If your child is on our SEND register, there is also an opportunity for you to book an additional appointment with our SENDCo Mr Merelie or Operational SENDCo Mrs Wakeling to discuss your child’s transition and current SEND support.

During this evening, you will have the chance to engage with your child’s tutor, discuss your child’s progress and ask any questions that you might have. Following your appointment with your child’s tutor, you will also have the opportunity to interact with the Head of Year, members of the leadership team and the pastoral team, while enjoying refreshments in the canteen. Please allow extra time outside your scheduled appointment if you wish to speak to experts regarding the following; Penrice Plus activities, homework, pastoral support and Pupil Premium support. Throughout the evening, we also invite you to share your thoughts on your child’s transition during our Parent Forum, as your feedback is highly valued.

Later in the academic year, we will be hosting a further evening dedicated to meeting your child’s teacher. This ‘Progress Evening’ will allow you to speak more specifically about progress in individual subject lessons.
