We are delighted to invite you to an important event on our school calendar for students and their families – The Careers Fair.

This is an exciting opportunity for you and your child to meet a wide range of post-16 education providers and employers. Throughout the evening you will be able to meet representatives from colleges, sixth forms and universities as well as a wide range of employers from Public Services and Armed Forces to Health Care professionals, Hospitality/Catering and Tourism to Construction and Engineering and much more.

In addition to this, students can find out more about various job sectors, organisations and what they can offer, whether it’s work experience opportunities or apprenticeships when they leave school at 16+ or older or aspiration goals for the future. There are also specialists to give information about Apprenticeships and general Careers Advice.

This combined Careers Fair with Poltair School and Penrice Academy will be held at Poltair School on Thursday 7th November, starting at 5:00pm, finishing at 7:00pm.

This event will help ensure our students, and you as parents, are better informed to make the important decisions as students develop their career plans and pathways.
