We are delighted to inform you of the new date for the Careers Fair: Thursday, 25th January 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We understand the importance of this event for both students and parents, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with a diverse range of employers.

This is an exciting opportunity for students and their parents/carers to meet a wide range of post-16 education providers and employers. Throughout the evening you will be able to meet representatives from colleges, sixth forms and universities as well as a wide range of employers from Public Services and Armed Forces to Health Care professionals, Hospitality/Catering and Tourism to Construction and Engineering and much more.

In addition to this, students can find out more about various job sectors, organisations and what they can offer, whether it’s work experience opportunities or apprenticeships when they leave school at 16+ or older or aspiration goals for the future. There are also specialists to give information about Apprenticeships and general Careers Advice.

This combined Careers Fair will be held at Poltair School on Thursday 25 January 2024 starting at 5:00pm.

This event will help ensure our students are better informed to make the important decisions over the next 2 years and onwards as they develop their career plans and pathways.
