Careers Mr James Hammersley Assistant Headteacher and Careers Lead Our vision is that all students are confident, informed and ambitious individuals who are best prepared for a successful future in an ever-changing world. To achieve this our Careers programme leads students through a journey of discovery and exploration of employment sectors, post-16 job and educational opportunities both within and outside of the taught curriculum to prepare them for life beyond Penrice. We work closely with local and national companies to deliver an extensive Careers programme: students visit workplaces; meet with employers and Careers specialists; receive 1 to 1 guidance and enjoy personalised support to develop an understanding of future job markets and the skills required in the modern economy. We regularly measure our programme against the 8 Gatsby benchmarks and review our provision with our partner in the Careers and Enterprise Company to ensure our students receive the best possible careers guidance and education.
