Anticipation Rises for Oliver JR!

There is just over one month to go until our talented actors and actresses take to the stage for Penrice Academy’s 2024 school production of Oliver JR.

Full of classic songs like “Consider Yourself”, “Food Glorious Food”, and “Oom-Pah-Pah”, this is set to be a toe-tapping, engaging and truly memorable spectacle.

As our production of Oliver! Jr. approaches, I am sure that this year’s performance is going to be one of the best we’ve ever staged at Penrice Academy. The cast have been working incredibly hard since September with Mrs Ames and myself to learn their lines and block their scenes and the designers are deep in the process of making some fantastic props and set with Mr Easterbrook and Ms Doorey.

I am so excited for the show and can’t wait to welcome you into Penrice Academy on 5th – 7th March!

Our students have shown outstanding commitment in attending two rehearsals per week since September and their hard work is sure to pay off! Our backstage crew and set design team have also been working tirelessly behind the scenes!

How to purchase tickets

Tickets are priced at £5 per seat and all money raised will be used to fund Penrice school productions, including set design and stage/audio equipment. Tickets can be purchased via online platform TryBooking.com (link below).
