Spanish

Year 7 and 8 Spanish

Students learn how to understand language and acquire the skills to manipulate language and use language for themselves through a variety of topics that mirror those undertaken at GCSE. A focus in the language classrooms at Penrice is to create an atmosphere in which students take risks in their language learning and where they can become resilient language learners. Students will develop an understanding of cultural differences and similarities both in Spain and other Spanish speaking countries. Throughout year 7 students will establish the foundations of language enabling them to continue to progress in Spanish.
