Showjumping Report: November

It was a brilliant weekend for the Penrice Academy Showjumping squad.

On Saturday 12th November 2016, Christiana Dean (pictured above, middle) competed at Tall Trees Arena representing the Academy – she came 2nd in a huge 1 metre open class. This summer Christiana completed a lifetime dream of competing at Royal Cornwall and her summer success is continuing in great form.

On Sunday, the two teams headed to Pendarves Equestrian Centre in Camborne. The novice team of Maddi Adams, Emily Hoskin, Evie Bishop and Casey Netherton all rode fantastically over an up to height course. The second round saw Casey, Maddi and Evie cruise around and all girls were proud of their performance despite missing out on the places.

The Open Team of Christiana Dean, Melissa Hull and Jasmine Sleeman were on top form and dominated both rounds to just miss out on top spot and take 2nd place. Jasmine jumped to gain 3rd place individually and the team were immaculate in their school jumpers, sponsored coats and saddle clothes and won the Presentation Award to top off a brilliant day.

The next competition is in February!
