Race for Life at Penrice Academy!

On Wednesday 16th December at 3pm, we’re inviting all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 to join us in the Penrice Academy Race for Life.

Race for Life for secondary schools is completely free to enter and is a great opportunity for students to get involved in a fantastic cause – whether it’s the younger years running the course, or the older students helping to run the event. Team PE will be setting a course on the field around the Long Stone and parents, teachers and friends are invited to help, to cheer, to walk or to run for charity.

There are limited places so be sure to reply to the Google Doc to show interest and to sign up at the registration table in the hall on 23rd and 24th November to receive sponsorship forms.

If you don’t want to run you can help as a marshal, in organisation, with media coverage with pictures and video and help your friends with sponsorship. It’s free to enter but we would like to encourage a donation on the day to help us meet our £500 target. Those who attend will receive a medal!
