Being a Part of Midsummer, by Emily and Olivia

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a well-known Shakespeare play, which involves a series of love triangles and Athenian lovers. There are six actors who are controlled and manipulated by fairies.

Georgia in Year 7enjoys the fact that she gets to be involved in something challenging, while having fun at the same time.

She told us: “I love that I have this opportunity and I’m so glad I chose to do it and stuck with it all this time. Director Mr. Tew is very enthusiastic and he makes it easy to understand what he wants you to do!”

Georgia’s part in the play is quite important, as she is in the chorus and is the background of the play as part of the ensemble.

The said of the experience: “It was such a fun way to connect with others. I really recommend  this experience to everyone.”
