Penrice Orchestra Study Ten Pieces

Last week, musicians from Senior and Junior Orchestra were taken to the cinema to see the BBC film Ten Pieces. This film shows the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra performing the Ten Pieces and interviews with the musicians involved.  Students at Penrice will be learning Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen, plus one more piece of their choice. Plenty more sport action this week with Rugby fixtures against Richard Lander, the Netballers away at Wadebridge and Football against Liskeard. Penrice Host and Win Rugby Tournament

On Tuesday 29th September, we hosted the U16 Army 10S Rugby Tournament 2015, inviting schools from all over Cornwall to compete in a round-robin style event.
